Clark Accounting Services was set-up in early 2009 by Rona Clark, an honours graduate in accounting with a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology. Rona has a vast amount of practical accounting experience, assisting a wide range of clients small and large, with all aspects of day to day accounting.

After University, Rona trained with a Glasgow based Chartered Accountancy practice and progressed on to the role of Finance Manager / Senior Management Team member, for a freight forwarding business, where she ran her own finance department for 11 years.

In addition to her full-time finance manager role, Rona assisted Accountancy firms with the preparation of year-end accounts and has, through this experience, discovered that a gap exists in providing professional accountancy services to SME sized businesses. As many smaller businesses can often be very inexperienced in the day to day running of their finances, it’s not uncommon for those in charge of these firms to be unaware of whether or not they are making a profit or a loss, until well after the end of their trading year. Clark Accounting Services can provide small enterprises with the quarterly or monthly profit information their managers need to help run their businesses
